carrier reefer message out of range

does anyone know why i keep getting a message out of range. this does not happen often but generally after i have opened the doors and reclosed them. i also sometime experance the unit shuts down when in the defrost cycle and gives me a message high pressure, this usually happens when in the freezer, but only sometimes. when i take it for service it works fine.
this is a 1999 unit with about 11,000 hrs on it works greats otherwise

I would get it into a carrier dealer and have them look at the HP sensor and one of the temp sensors, both of these were problems for me at one time with an EOR error.

You do have your little service manual and the large operators manual, I think they both have the errors listed in them.

My units only one year newer than yours, but i've got 1/2 the hours as you. I've had that very same message off and on the last 2-3 years. The dealers looked at it a couple times. They say the sensors are just fine. The unit works perfectly. I quit worrying about it a long time ago.

I have had it in the for service several times and each time they tell me everything is OK, its not a big problem just have to keep an eye on it and reset it when it happens, the shutting down in defrost i think the condenser needs to be cleaned

Carrier gave me extra manuals, the dealer was good about handing me the manuals, the parts manual and other things that I needed to keep on hand.

The only thing that the dealer or carrier has helped me with is the interface between the unit and the computer. No one seems to want to help with that.

Do you have a belly mounted unit or one on the box?

I have talked to several people with belly mounts and they get errors more than I do. There seems to be more exposure to the wiring than if it is hanging on the box.

The other question is how often do you get Carrier to do a check up and cleaning to the unit?

I just had it cleaned and it stopped the problem of shutting down while it defrost for a couple months but it is starting to happen again, I'm going to use my pressure washer when i return home to clean it from the inside,
Is there a way you can copy the manual? the only thing i have is the posters inside the unit

I see if I can get a copy of it.

Be careful power washing it from the inside. don't use a lot of pressure against the condenser.

How often does it defrost? I mean what do you have it set on?
