Just found out today that I ca'nt go to Canada any more because I got a DUI (in a car) 20 years ago. When did Canada come up with a law like that? Have I been slipping in? I'm planning on buying a truck in the near future. I have a fairly impressive resume--32 yrs OTR tractor/trailer experience, graduated 2 driving schools in top of class, have been a driver trainer and a third party examiner for state highway dept. over 3 million miles with 1 accident(NON_CHARGEABLE). Due to the fact that a lot of expediting companies deliver in Canada, Is the fact that I ca'nt go going to ruin my chances of leasing to a good carrier? Lets hear it for the perfect, no mistake-making Canadians. Thanks for any info
