The drug companies made their money back.....because this is not a new drug, it has been out for years. It started out for horses and was tested to see if it helped humans.....yet it cost more for humans.....like diabetic medicine.
But narcan is free to save drug users from oding.....
The taxpayers are buying narcan to save the addicts, once again we get the shaft.....

Life is hard - it's really hard when you're stupid. Problem is, you can't fix stupid but maybe this guy get educated by catching covid in jail.
Sad thing is Canada is over 70% vaccinated.

Our problem here in the US is the govt doing such a bad job of educating the public about the obvious fact that the vaccine does work; it will keep you out of the hospital and out of the morgue. Granted, nothing works 100% but the numbers over the past year tell us that the jab is as safe and effective as we should expect. It's worked well for our family. We were exposed two weeks ago by a kid visiting our granddaughter and none of us got it.

That might actually be part of the problem, there are a lot of people who think that anything the government says is wrong. The more the government pushes, the more they resist.

The big problem is they let people like al Sharpton have a hate filled voice on tv.

Well you had the two Democratic leaders last year during the campaign tell "81 million" of their voters that you shouldn't trust the vaccine.

Considering the current downward spiral of the state of the nation, it could've been predicted as a consequence of a Biden/Democrat Socialist administration. We now have de facto politicians in charge of our health care and our military. Are we better off now than we were eight months ago? The majority of Americans don't think so. Will things improve between now and next Nov? Probably not. With these clouds on the horizon, here's to all the Biden lovers and Trump haters - remember Bob Dylan: "A hard rain's A-gonna fall".

Do you have Long Covid (PASC)? It is estimated that 10%-30% of all people who have or had COVID-19 do. If you are one of them, you may wish to volunteer for this important study.

Click this link to learn more.

Click this link to receive info about volunteering for the study.

Do you know people with Long Covid? If so, they may be very interested in this. Please share this info with them.

Per the CDC, "Some people experience a range of new or ongoing symptoms that can last weeks or months after first being infected with the virus that causes COVID-19. Unlike some of the other types of post-COVID conditions that tend only to occur in people who have had severe illness, these symptoms can happen to anyone who has had COVID-19, even if the illness was mild, or if they had no initial symptoms. People commonly report experiencing different combinations of the following symptoms:
  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • Tiredness or fatigue
  • Symptoms that get worse after physical or mental activities (also known as post-exertional malaise)
  • Difficulty thinking or concentrating (sometimes referred to as “brain fog”)
  • Cough
  • Chest or stomach pain
  • Headache
  • Fast-beating or pounding heart (also known as heart palpitations)
  • Joint or muscle pain
  • Pins-and-needles feeling
  • Diarrhea
  • Sleep problems
  • Fever
  • Dizziness on standing (lightheadedness)
  • Rash
  • Mood changes
  • Change in smell or taste
  • Changes in menstrual period cycles"

I have been watching with some interest how vaccine hesitancy has steadily declined over the last several months. With vaccine mandates now coming out, it is interesting to see how real or unreal that hesitancy is. When push comes to shove, will the vaccine hesitants get vaccinated or not?

This hospital system mandate provides new data. Only a tiny fraction (six-tenths of 1%) remained steadfast in their refusal to be vaccinated. A mandate was also issued to vaccinate all members of the U.S. armed forces. We've not seen service men and women deserting to avoid vaccinations. It's not their first choice, but vaccine-hesitant service members are lining up to get the shot.

Well, except for the last one, I have dealt with all of those symptoms long before Covid came along.....

Yes but covid is here now and long covid is a new illness. I get a runny nose as a cold symptom, flu symptom, stepping out into the winter cold, exposure to certain aromas or gasses, and COVID-19, and crying at a funeral. The fact that the same symptom is a function of various causes does not negate a Long Covid diagnosis or the existence of that illness.

Here's something happening that shouldn't be: Vermont, a Blue state with the highest vaccination rate in the country is having a serious spike in covid cases! Are Trump voters sneaking into the state or did they get a planeload of illegals from the Mexican border? Or just maybe, covid - like the common cold (another type of coronavirus) is just not manageable and may never will be.

So if covid "is just not manageable and may never will be," what would you change? Would you have Vermont cease its vaccination program so it no longer leads the country in the number of vaccinated people?

Logic dictates that if "maybe covid ... is just not manageable and may never will be", then Vermont should change nothing. But science will dictate that researchers will keep trying to come up with a cure and in the meantime Vermont and other states will have to be satisfied with their best efforts being somewhat effective. After all, there are other things that factor into the equation like the economy, education and civil order that come to mind.
