Wow, there sure were a lot of you out there on US 30 and I 75 yesterday! (Wednesday Oct 14, 2009). My son and I took a trip from Upper Sandusky, Oh to Middletown, Oh and back, and I don't think I have ever seen so many expediters on the road. I have been making this trip about every month since April, and I think I saw more yesterday than in the other five months combined! (I have been taking care of my Mom's estate and have to run down and "do things" every so often.)
Saw too many CVs and Sprinters to count, several E-1 and FedEx straights, three Tri-State and a couple of Panther TTs. In all, I lost track at about 35 or so, and that's not even counting the "mom and pop" companies I didn't even recognize. (I know, who actually counts?)
So if I "saw" you, sorry I didn't have time to stop and say "HI!"
Quite the contrast to the trip in May when I saw a total of 1 E-1 straight, 1 FedEx, 1 E-1 CV and 1 Try-Hours Sprinter!
Hopefully the pickup in freight will continue for you all!
