Instead of hauling parts for the space shuttle you could just take the whole thing..
Maybe the 1st expediter that needed a pilot car

I wish I had a camera.

The Air stream thing has been done, I was passed by a truck with an air stream cut and attached to the cab. Kinda neat but it would be better if the truck would be like a Mack B or something with real styling curves.

But for those who doubt me this is possible, there are a number of tractors hauling trailers that have pickup campers stuck on the back of them and a few of them have been cut and attached to the cab.

Oh I forgot to add this, I know someone who took a 26 or 28 foot air stream and mounted it on a ford chassis, making a motor home out of it. He was frustrated that he could not find a real air stream motor home and decided to use what he have in his yard. It looks weird but fun to scare people in thinking it is a lose trailer - he left the trailer mount on it.

Last week I saw a tractor that had a travel trailer attached to the
frame of truck. Made it like a motor home. Looked weird but worked
I guess. they had taken the front of trailer and attached it to
back of truck cab.
