Brake Pedal

Why is it that on some air brake equipped trucks and buses the brake pedal looks so much like the accelerator pedal?

Just always wanted to know. I would think they would make it look like a brake pedal in a car or pickup to avoid confusion.

Or is it to cause people like me confusion?

Mine looks like a modren day brake pedal from a pickup, nothing different.

Mine looks like the clutch pedal, even the gas pedal is small though, think Toyota pickup LOL
