Box Floor Coating

Whenever I see pictures of inside box floors, they are always nice looking and well polished. I'm wondering if anyone ever uses something like "deck paint" that is used on aircraft carriers? I would think that it would be durable (good enough for the Navy) and that it would be easy to clean and not be damaged by dirt, oil, grease, or ? Again it seems to be able to withstand JP1, Oil, Gas, and all kinds of other stuff on board, so I'm just kind of curious. Also as I remember, it is not slippery when wet, and I would think would kind of help to hold pallets, and other loads in place (with straps, and e-track of course)

I know of two owners who have "painted" their decks. One used an Epoxy paint they use at power plants (got it at a DTE surplus sale) and it has held up pretty good. The other used Garage Floor epoxy paint which also has held up pretty well.

Rustoleum Garage Floor Clear Epoxy $99 at Home Depot, etc. Lightly sand if needed, use deck brush and/or power wash, apply to dry floor. Took 30mins to trim around d-rings and edges while Mr. rolled the middle.

This is after two weeks of loads, forklifts have only toed on the truck- they see the floor and stop before continuing ;) We had some steel "pallets"- put a pad down so they wouldn't dig in, secured as usual, no scratches.
