backing up

[The Enemy]

Yesterday at the Tri State employee appreciation day we had a backup competition. Basically you had to park your truck evenly between the white lines plus get as close to the cone in the middle of the spot without touching it. Well I was a 1/4 of an inch off center in the spot and they measured 2 inches from my back bumper to the cone. Needless to say I was the closest and won a $50 visa card and a certificate. I was driving the Sprinter with no backing aids or cameras. :+

Congratulations! Competition involving driving skill is something I'd like to see a lot more of, because it's competition that's good for everyone. No matter who wins the actual event, everyone wins! Hats off to the carriers that not only want their drivers to be good, but help them to achieve it.
