Back On The Road Again

To all who have been keeping up on my saga of being broke down in Beloit, WI, I just wanted you to know I am finally back on the road again.
The alleged $3300 in repairs that the fine folks in Wisconsin said I needed turned into about $350 when I actually got the truck back home. If the $2+ fuel doesn't put a guy out of business you can bet that an unscrupulous garage gouging an out of towner will surely put you under fast.
I did my first run Monday night. I got paid to deadhead from Indianapolis to Spencerville, IN (NE of Ft Wayne) and delivered to Dana Corp in Dry Ridge, KY.
Not a long run by any means but it sure felt good to be back out there.
I am at the FD today so I am hoping for a good run for Thursday and Friday.
Thanks to all who offered help and advice during this extended out of service time. You all are great.
Stay safe and God bless.
