Attention All Solo Drivers!!!

now that i have your attention.....
solo drivers...... that own your own and only drive for your self with your 1 truck
how are you all doing out there??
with the fuel cost and maintanice ...???
let me know ... if you drive a str8 truck or van or TT
are you doing ok??

I started expediting a year ago this month after obtaining my own authority. I currently run a 2007 Sprinter and I am doing okay. Of course my main freight is from my former employer which I was with them 18 years and was the Shipping Supervisor. My intentions is to have few more trucks (straight) in the near future. I love what I am doing, only wished I did it sooner.

I'm solo tractor/40' trailer which I use as a D unit here at Leam. I am more selective on what I haul now and a lot less willing to deadhead. Also a lot more conscience of what my driving habits are and trying to correct bad ones. Still busy enough for me, but I run out west mostly and this is defintly not expedite country. I could run harder but family concerns are keeping me closer to home. I am taking a coast to coast next week because I have to get back there for some bs TSA class, then it's back westbound for me.
