I have come up with a business plan for the future based on the upcoming 2010 emmissions regs, etc. This could catch on!
When our truck is no longer compliant, rather than spend 9-10K extra on the purchase of a new compliant truck, I'm gonna pull our perfectly good ARI sleeper and Onan genset off of the truck. I'm sure I can find a Mexican buyer south of the boarder to sell the cab and chassis to. Then I'll buy an extra large pontoon boat to mount the sleeper and genset on. We can hang an aluminum awning on the front of the sleeper and screen it in like a front porch. We'll call it our ARI Houseboat. I think we will retire and dock our custom houseboat in Lake Havasua and take up fishing. For income we can sell some of the fish we catch at a roadside stand for fuel for the generator. Cash and carry only. We'll filet em for an extra charge.
