I was looking at an ad posted by R&J Transportation and wondered if anyone had any feedback or reviews to offer of how they treat their owner/operators.
Thanks!

It's actually R&J... but I got my answer...
I had them email a copy of the agreement and it's quite amazing to me.
They charge a 5% fee for "PAYING" their contractors!
It comes down to a choice the contractor has to make at the front end: get paid in a timely manner such as what's normal 3-10 days depending on when the run ends, OR get paid (for no fee) when the company ACTUALLY gets their money in 30-60 or even 90 days! They also take a $2 fee each time they make a direct deposit into your checking account. I find this unbelievable. Oh well... back to my search...

I have never heard of them, but is sounds like they pay the factoring company and charge you or you wait and you are the bank.

You got their number for sure.. 5% off the top is about all the profit that's left to take.
I just can't justify it.

With the thin margins most carriers run, that has to be a sure way to kill your business.

I drove for a carrier that paid that rate back in 2009. Not much of rate imho these days and really it was not great in 2009. But then again I drove for 2 carriers then. They are both out of business now, imagine that.lol
