US 64 will be shut down for over a week in Polk County River Gorge, in TN....Looked like they were down to one or two rocks, then it let go again...

glad that excavator got out of there. that operator probably would have been killed by that that is prob 200-300 tons of rock sitting there. Looks like they need to start going up the mountain side and clean the loose stuff off .. time and freeze thaw cycles finally forced its hand ... that should take a bit to clean up again .... its weird how quick that stuff can happen . in a instant it can all be over.
