Another Record Broken On This Board Yesterday

I know all you guys and gals just recently celebrated Gregs record of surpassing 10,000 posts on this board, but did any of you notice that you guys yourself just set another record for the board just yesterday?

Most users ever online was 1,606, Yesterday at 04:09 PM.

Not really sure if it means all 1,606 of you actually "visited" this board yesterday. I think it means that the EO cookies in your computers were alerted that all 1,606 of you were online at one time or another yesterday.

Whatever it meant, another record was set here.

My opinion. Only 606 of you were online yesterday and Greg logged "on" and logged "off" of his computer the other 1,000 times. :D

hmmmmm and to think that on another thread it was posted just today that this site is doomed. :rolleyes:

Wow.........what a conversation going on over there.:rolleyes:

And I am not even going to attempt to get involved.

Will say this though after reading one persons perception of what is going on here at EO.
Even sadder is the way EO has become their territory, driving away many whose intelligence, creativity, and sharp wit was a joy to read. Now it's becoming so much drivel: repetitive, boring, useless CB level chatter with almost none of the snap, crackle, and pop EO used to have.

Far too many posts by those who have little to offer [but are compelled to offer it over & over & over], too many conversations between members that hold little interest for the rest, and just waaaay too much sophomoric 'humor'.

But if the calvary doesn't show up soon, you're outnumbered, and EO is doomed.

Some of this I agree with. EO has become a "Territory" for a select few. Yes, they flock together like a band of monkeys who's only agenda is to not only abrogate the topic at hand in the discussion, but also a member or two that are not agreeing with their thoughts, opinions, and ideas.

But, that is life on these "open" and "anonymous" internet discussion forums that we all must live by.

As far as the opinion openly brought forth above. This EO discussion board has been around for years and years, and will still be around for years and years to come, whether the author of this opinion above likes it or not.

My personal opinion. Somebody here has a tagline that I absolutely love and agree with and wish many here would live by what they suggest.

"Quit Trying So Hard To Be Offended."

If one would go back read that 3 page discussion, this tagline above would be great advice for the author of the quote above.

While I may never be out there with you guys as an Expeditor, or not any time in the near future, I will say......LONG LIVE EXPEDITORSONLINE!!! :D
