I was SOOOOOOO excited to see a new post by OVM, I am VERY bored here waiting for Ike and need someone to argue with!!!! I think that everyone who plans on living here on a permanent basis should become a citizen. Citizenship is not only what you have to pay or what services you use. It is the responibility of protecting your rights and mine. It is an attitude that you are an American. A member of a people with a proud heritage of public service, self sacrifice and a giving attitude. It is a willingness to protect the nation from all ememies both forgien and domestic. Most important of all, America is a state of mind. A state of mind that believes in responisiblty and a can do spirit. A state of mind with a stubborn independent streak. A "I can do it myself" streak. And besides, IT's COOL!!!
