Aluminum Wheels

I was wondering if anyone has a good source on new or used 22.5 stud mount aluminum wheels. I am looking for 4 to 6 for my FL70. Also are there any cons to running 4. I heard you need a spacer if you do this. Thanks for all your help in the past. What a great place to learn. Dale

yes you will probably need a spacer on running only 4 of them. Some tire dealers may have some used ones, but a better deal can be had at a salvage yard for trucks. You can call around on this and just tell them your number of studs and wheel size. You should be able to get six at a reasonable price and not have to worry about the spacer.

Thanks for the input but I am having problems finding a salvage yard. I live in Ohio but will be willing to travel to save some money. If you know of any please let me know. Thanks Dale

If you can't find them listed in the yellow pages, do the following;
Look in the yellow pages(preferably a large city area in Ohio) under heavy truck or commercial towing. Call these companies up and they will refer you to the salvage yards in your area. They will also tell you what they part out ect.
Example; as you are looking for wheels, they may be able to suggest a place that has a larger inventory of them verses another.
