Air Leaf?

Anybody know the difference between an air ride suspension and an air leaf?

I always made the distinction in that an air ride is factory, and air leaf is a version with the air components are aftermarket and installed later.

They now have a new version that they call a leaf spring on Petes that you can check out

Dave KC has it right. Every manufacturer makes their own proprietary air suspension (unless one specs a Hendrickson). Freightliner calls theirs Airliner, and Peterbilt calls it Air-Trac (stiffer with torsion bars under the springs) or Low-Air LEAF for straight trucks. I went with the Low-air leaf on my 335, and it is almost too soft. The box wiggles left to right as I travel- kind of annoying.
Point: the terms are synonmous...

Do they make any suspensions you can adjust like the sleep number mattress? lol
