Ad problems?

Hey EO IT guys, you all having problems over there with the large banner ads under the header?

I noticed a long delay loading them this morning, and now I have a number of pages from different parts of the forum not loading them at all - they time out.

I checked it through another connection and it is happening with that one connection too, so it is not me.

Lawrence, take your pick.

I use Firefox here at home, the remote site I have several but I used IE, Safari and Firefox to check it. The remote site is open to the Internet with a number of platforms (XP, Linux and Mac), no firewall - no nothing for that matter because it is used for stress testing web sites.

The problem was not a browser problem, it seemed to be a site problem, the large banner ads didn't appear at all and timed out after 60 seconds.

Greg,

We were not able to locate any problem on our ad server program - but that's not to say we don't have a bug somewhere.

Other EO members - If you are reading this post have you experienced a similar problem?
