ACLU proves yet again they are worthless and shouldn't be allowed to exist.

Well, until recently, the ACLU was a good thing, because they went after the extreme speech, the extremely unpopular speech, because that's the exact type of speech the First Amendment is there to protect. But a funny thing happened on the way to the travel ban. More than $90 million flooded in by those on the left who thought the ACLU was with them. And then they took a financial hit after defending the free speech rights of the White supremacists in Charlottesville. They've been bought. They're all like, "Despite gobs and gobs more money, our resources are suddenly limited, so we'll need to be more careful in picking at choosing which cases we want to expend our limited resources on." <snort>

You would deny the existence of an organization whose purpose is to defend the Constitution?

Wow!

Oh please, they work against it most of the time. Their primary mission is lobbying for criminals and/or the left, not the Constitution.

Most of the constitutional issues they work on tend to be liberal, because conservatives tend to be, you know, conservative when allowing certain things. But when you drill down to their arguments and remove political sentiments and considerations, they tend to be spot on. Whether it's the freedom to speak out against war, or the religious freedom of the Westboro crack pots, or the individual's right to keep and bear arms.

What the ACLU needs to take on next is in support of the sane people who voted against a $70.3 million high school football stadium, even though they represent a shockingly tiny minority. :D
