It is ridiculous how wrong we have gone in this country. Heads should be rolling and they should belong to those who have allowed this to happen and those who are supporting it continuing. And this is just one example of nearly countless issues.

Mayor: Adult Illegal Aliens With 'Graying' Hair Enrolled in Public Schools | CNS News

The Mayor is mistaken: the directive from the DoJ applies to 'students', which, at the K-12 level, means minors, under the age of 21. If officials believe a prospective 'student' is unqualified due to having reached their majority, they are entitled to ascertain that person's age, and nothing in the directive says otherwise. A quote from the directive:

As with residency requirements, rules vary among States and districts as to what documents
students may use to show they fall within State- or district-mandated minimum and maximum age
requirements, and jurisdictions typically accept a variety of documents for this purpose. A school
district may not bar a student from enrolling in its schools because he or she lacks a birth certificate
or has records that indicate a foreign place of birth, such as a foreign birth certificate.

Clearly, the state and local officials can prohibit students who are ineligible because they are beyond the age of K-12 students. If the mayor thinks they cannot check the age of adults who attempt to register as students, it's her head that should roll.

Other than the fact they are here at all and allowed to remain here and so many other improper things?

If you're complaining that they're here, and are being accommodated, I agree with you. If we can't control who crosses our borders, they're just imaginary lines, with no real purpose.
Once they are here, though, it's a different problem: sending them back [to where? They're not all from Mexico] is expensive and ineffective. Allowing them to stay is expensive and mostly counterproductive: we have immigration limits for good reasons.
It's a sticky problem, without easy or good answers. Ideally, it's a problem that should be avoided by making the borders secure, and I think we should be working toward that goal yesterday.
The OP though, is just misleading 'clickbait', meant to outrage people who don't look too close for the truth. Which is, in this case, the DoJ's requirement that schools don't refuse students for lack of a birth certificate, or one indicating foreign birth. If the school officials believe that requires them to accept 35 year olds in K-12 schools, the problem is in their misinterpretation or misapplication of the DoJ memo.

Frankly the rule should be that without a legitimate U.S. birth certificate nobody should be enrolled in school. It's not our job to educate criminal aliens regardless of their age. Cut them off from everything and they will deport themselves in the reverse of how they illegally imported themselves. It's time to lock the barn and just flat say no period.

LEGAL immigrants are welcome.

Absolutely, it's only the illegals that should be totally cut off from everything.
