3 Things That Should Never Be Discussed

In looking over the recent threads, I remembered something a wise old man (my father) once told me.

There are 3 things never to discuss:
Money
Religion
Politics

I try very hard to abide by that except when that "wise old man" insists on talking religion.

It is very hard to compete with a bull headed Russian Catholic.

Guys have you been watching elections for the past twenty years? He who throws the most mud wins.

McCain tried to play nice. Nice guys finish last. He was a tired old man who desperately did not want his own personal life scrutinized. So, he gave Obama the kid glove treatment and lost in an electoral landslide.

Conservatives had better find some fresh, young leadership with fire in the belly. We live in the television age where youthfulness is all the rage. The twentysomething crowd watching MTV may be picking our presidents for quite some time, unless we offer dynamic people like Palin ourselves.

Now, do your patriotic duty. Throw mud.
