2020 Hino 258 ALP high idle

Is there a reason this truck w 18000 miles would be idling over 5000 rpm. makes it difficult to engage PTO.
Don't want to bring in unless I have to, they'll keep it for a week.

5000? That can't possibly be right. When it first starts up it'll be higher until it warms up, then it'll idle at 750.
