Oh Good. More time away from work. Weather has to break soon for that early goose season. I hate spraying bug spray on my hunting clothes.
Still need alot water out in our area the Ponds and rivers are still way down.

We are looking good here. Lots of rain, ponds are full, so are the rivers. Now, if it stays cool and we get an early freeze in Canada, this should be a good season. LOTS of canvasbacks come through here!:D

Its against my better judgement,,but the truck is parked for the weekend opener..With temps in the 70s and mid 60s,,low water levels and what water we have is grass covered. There are ducks in there just no real good open spot to decoy them into us. So Tommorow will be spent trying to open up holes in the grass..This should be fun :(
Its not looking good and may have been best to stay out working untill a good frost hits and beats back the grass. But its just to hard to pass up on a opening weekend. With no cold weather I dont see any birds being pushed for a few weeks yet.

Good news is all the alpha feilds are freshly cut and should be able to work the Geese into these with a little luck.
