Hi I'm having an issue with the cooling fan. The a/c worked great, now all the sudden no a/c and if the truck idles too long it starts to overheat. If you turn the ac on the fan spins 4 or 5 times and then stops. Any ideas?

You have two different problems. For the blower motor, it is very often the switch that has burnt up. The wires going to the switch, and the switch's connector melt. Repair parts are available. Replace the blower motor at the same time, because when they age they start pulling more current, damaging the switch.

For the overheating problem, I think the first thing you should do is remove the intercooler and clean out the radiator fins. The radiator gets packed full of debris and you can't see it until the intercooler is out of the way.
Does the fan clutch come on while you're driving? If you never hear it come on, it's probably bad.
