Are you saying there's something wrong with the victims wanting to get some kind of restitution? This wasn't a market loss, it was misappropriation by a despicable thief.
I should have specified what they said. It is not restitution over the loss of their initial investment which they deserve but they want all the money that they told was "created" through the "investments" that were made on their behalf. Some produced records of amazing gains and expect that money.
A lot of people who don't qualify for the hardship program or other means to recoup their investments want a piece of the pie irregardless of where they stand in the scheme. Some of the secondary investors are screaming about how unfair it was for the court appointed trustee to make decisions that put their case in front of a judge.
Oh and let's not forget that this would have been all avoided if the SEC followed up on the complaint that was filed with them in 2000.
