Is this only happening to us??

This has happened to us twice now... We accepted a load with a certain amount of miles, picked up and delivered without a problem. We sent in our paperwork then a day or so later our QC beeps with another copy of the receipt for that load. Upon further inspection everything was the same...

    stolen license plate...again!

A few months ago our plate turned up missing. After realizing it was gone (and a nice ticket later) we blamed it on a bad wind storm we went through a few days earlier. But, its gone again! My husband put on a new bracket etc after the first incident so thats not to blame. We know for a fact...

Do you think DOT singles out straight trucks?

We got picked for another "random" level one DOT inspection today at a weight station in MS, this is the 2nd one this month! Funny how I watched the officer waive all the 18 wheelers through before he picked us. And...when we were done, guess what truck was picked next for inspection? You...

    We're giving it another shot!

I finally have a clean bill of health so we are ready to roll again! For those of you who didn't know; my appendix actually ruptured while me and the hubby were in the truck...I think somewhere in TX? Stupid me I can't be normal, so when it became inflammed it ruptured among my small intestine...

How did I lose my first out!

We had a load cancel this morning in Dalas, TX and were given a first out. We both had to go into the truck-stop so we changed our status to "available out of truck on pager" over QC. Later, I emailed our truck owner's seceratary to tell her that we were still sitting; almost 3 days now. I told...

About Panther's home time...refusals did count aga

I just got a chance to check the Panther website and yep, a few of those loads that we refused (while on the get home list) counted against us. How can we fix that? We refused 4 but only 2 of them show as a refusal? Our acceptance rating is still in above 90% should I even worry about it?

    About Panther's get home program...

Just a quick question: Did all the loads we refused when we were trying to get home for Labor Day hurt our acceptance rating? We were on the get home list but only got offerd loads going the wrong way so we refused them. I wonder why were we offered these loads if they knew we wanted to be...

What does everyone think about Idle Aire?

What does everyone think about Idle Aire? I'll be honest, we love it! I feel that it saves us a little fuel and helps our environment. But when we are at the truck stops with Idle Aire we hear nothing but complaints. Does anyone else dislike it? If so, why?

About Slow Areas..You wont believe our luck

We arrived in Salt Lake City, UT on an empty move early on 6/01/06. We thought we were having some good luck to have a load pick up that afternoon, but unfortunally it dry ran as soon as we arrived at the shipper. So we went back to the Flying J and sat, and sat, and sat. All attempts of a...

I'm taking everyone's advise about load selection.

I will definantly be taking everyone's advise on how to avoid being sent to slow-service areas. I have always been one of those people that have to learn everything the hard way, this has been no exception! I will admit it will be a little hard to refuse loads at first. Most of the loads that...

Why can't I stay in the service area?

My husband and I have been hauling expediting freight for 3 months now and can not stay in the service area.? We are trying to be at 100 percent but that takes us out west and to the deep south where we get "stuck" often. We live in Indiana and thought we would be able to swing by our home more...
