Has anyone else had a problem with Firefox disappearing for 2 - 15 seconds locking the computer up in the process? According to the mozilla web site this is actually an old problem, with no known solutions. It just started happening to me a couple of weeks ago.

I am looking into loading linux onto my laptop and I'm checking to see if anybody knows if they have a linux version or if one of the emulators (like wine, etc) can run it?
