Firefox problems

Has anyone else had a problem with Firefox disappearing for 2 - 15 seconds locking the computer up in the process? According to the mozilla web site this is actually an old problem, with no known solutions. It just started happening to me a couple of weeks ago.

If you're talking about the (not responding) problem yes, that happens randomly with no rhyme or reason.

You didn't mention what Version of Firefox you are having trouble with. You may want to check out Pale Moon,it is based on the same code as Firefox but is requires even less resources,because they left out a lot of things most of us don't use anyway.
