I am wanting to install a CB in the left overhead cubby hole located above the sterring wheel. I was able to remove the facing trim but something is still holding the insert. The factory provided center tray for the CB is already in use.

I have heard the the Bars gray bottle of liquid works better than the other types. I had the same problem on a MBE, I added two bottles of Bars from WalMart and it stopped the leak.
