    Glad to hear that not everyone is having trouble. Mine went about 10K just clearing the CEL before it finally triggered the countdown again. I got that reset and I'm going to see how far it will go before it happens again. If and when it does I will attempt to solve that pesky DEF problem...

    I've never let it get below 2 starts before I have it at a shop. So, I don't know if it will or not. Too afraid of the tow bill.

    I took it to the Freightliner dealer there in Nashville. Also a Sprinter shop. They were unable to reset it as well. They did update the software though. They spent about 30 to 40 minutes on it. They didn't even charge me for their time. If only it would have worked! So, I'm out of service again...

    Yes. It's a bit of a gamble. I'm not advocating for it. I'm just putting it out there that it has been done. Not as a poke in the eye to regulations, but as a way for some to keep from going bankrupt because of defective systems.
