    New Here

Welcome to E.O. someone will be along shortly to help with your questions, most of your questions can be searched in some older post but just about everyone here is pretty helpful. I think you need a C endorsement but a B with air brakes and a Haz-mat would be the better option.

    Looking 2 Drive!

I did my road test in Mi and I was also concerned about the pre-trip but I called the school and for $50 bucks the instructor walked me threw the pre-trip. Just remember you dont have to grab the parts you just have to be able to I.D. the part and what you are looking for. The most important...

    Getting a fresh start

I am not real sure but with the four door cab and a 96 inch sleeper you may be over length with a 24 foot box. That will leave you to be a C UNIT with no chance for the D loads. And by saying that I have read alot on here that you should atleast be set up as a D unit just for the load offers...

    ALL-TYPES EXPEDITE

Hey jizface I just wanted to know what makes it not so good. I had gotten the idea from them at the Expo that they just concentrate on the upper Mid-West. But I would like to hear more on your dealings with them so far. Are they just a cut-throat carrier. Best of luck and thanks in advance.

    I'm being recruited.

I hope this helps a little. When I was looking to get my cdl I talked to a few of the bigger companys and all of them reqiure you to stay with their company for a set amount of time. If you choose to leave before you honor that time you will get a GREAT BIG BILL to repay them for your schooling...

    STARTING IN THE BUSINESS

The best advice is to read over all the past post on this subject (you will be here a while). You will also find out that just about everyone will tell you to drive for someone else (a fleet owner). That way you will not have that big truck payment. Look at the classifieds here at EO and call...

    hometime

I have seen this question here before and the people that can answer it have to know a little bit more, like what is your location how long do you want to stay out on the road. Just from reading the past post most teams like to stay out 3 to 4 weeks then take 3 or 4 days off. Now the part about...

    Cost of a D Unit

Hey Rich I had asked about the husband and wife that ran that truck sometime ago to see if they were doing O.K. I had read that there were some kind of back injuries and that they were not sure if they would ever drive over the road again, do you or anyone with-in EO have a idea. Thank you

    Cost of a D Unit

The way trucks option out it is hard to give a good ballpark. Try looking at truckpaper.com they have prices for new and used. I was just at Alumi-bunk and they are listing the prices on the window now, I saw prices from the high 70s to the low 90s. Just depends how much you have to spend, or...
