My accountant does not want any receipts just numbers of what my yearly expenses are. I keep each type of receipts in envelopes. The Newer Unreliable Cargo Vans

Never had any problems with any of my ford transit. All 3 are t350. Replace all tires at 191,000 miles. Never had any problems what so ever. The vehicles will last a long time if you stay up on the maintenance, an don't drive it like you stole it.

    Just Starting

Your best bet is to go out an drive for yourself an learn the business. Stay out for 25 days an come home for 5. Then go out for another 25 days an come home for 5. Do this for your first 3 months an see how well you did in how many loads, food expenses, fuel, showers, motels, dead head. If you...

    Cargo Van's starting to log?

The carriers I drive for an lease to, require all there o/o van drivers to have a cdl c lic an a medical card. As well as there b an a class lic too. Which is smart.

    Cargo Van's starting to log?

Will never happen!! Its up to the companies if they want there van drivers to log. Those are the companies you do not want to drive a van for. You won't make any money.

    Landstar Sprinter Question

I would say its a fluke. I have 2 transit t350 lease to them for 2yrs. Both drivers have C license an hazmat. Thats what they require. An if they are changing van drivers to b class lic. They will loose all van drivers. You can all ways get a hold of driver relation too. So I say it's a fluke.

Do your research by hanging out in truck stops an chatting with other van drivers from different expediting companies as well as straight truck drivers. They will tell you...

Have you ever heard of such a "policy"?

Cell phone or qc. It's all a business tax write off. I don't use a qc. My carrier I drive for emails the load info after they call me to see if I want it. They have no clue if I moved from 1 truck stop to Walmart etc. I tell them what town with in so many miles I'm in. Panther used to bump me if...

Have you ever heard of such a "policy"?

Panther done that yrs ago an got sued. The escrow covers the qc. You get the escrow money back when the qc is return. I ran for panther from 2002 until 2005. Will never ever drive for a company that uses qc.
