    V3 transpotation

Sorry to hear that Twisted, that is not the norm. Stick it out, talk to other C&M drivers..it will get better. Also, I'm pretty sure I met you last week at C&M while you were getting your logos put on. I introduced you to the owner, Cal.

    What happened to VOI?

Not sure you get what TEANA and the VOI program is trying to accomplish. I know you've been doing this for awhile and you know what your bottom line is, but it's not just about a replacement cost of your vehicle (or lack there of). You also don't understand the huge liability it puts on the...

    What happened to VOI?

OVM, So, this is just your opinion about Teana? Or do you actually have personal experience regarding them?

    What happened to VOI?

What personal experience do you have with TEANA? What have you done to help fight against rogue carriers with improper insurance? You are either part of the solution, or part of the problem! If your carrier is doing things the right way and your carrier choices not to be a part of the fight...

    Cargo Van CIS news!

That's not apples to apples. CIS makes sure everyone is covered, not just the minimum you can get away with. Cost of doing business, if you cut corners you are putting everyone involved at risk.

    Try Hours

That's probably it. Unfortunately, there are a lot of van drivers that don't have the savings for something like this. Then the carrier ends up paying it. We are in the process of starting an escrow program, more for the maintenence side of it.

    Try Hours

Opel, I understand your frustration..I don't think this is just a TH issue. We are ALL feeling the crunch..from rates to mileage. Speaking as an owner, I don't think you made a mistake by going to TH, I think you would find that almost anywhere. My guys are sitting and my dispatch is begging for...

Getting our own customers - where do I begin?

I agree with Kast. Unless a comment was deleted, I didn't see where he was in the wrong. But, I'm just a rookie... The original post on "how to get my own customers" took a sharp turn.

Looking for real advise from Team CDL Drivers!

This is really great feedback guys..CDL Drivers (especially team's) are a commodity. YOU have the power! I love the idea of retention programs over sign on bonuses (even though it does help with the upfront cost of moving your truck to a new company). Hopefully there is a happy medium with both.

Looking for real advise from Team CDL Drivers!

Hey guys, first I wanted to say it was really good seeing a lot of you at the Expo! And before I begin, I want to make sure everyone knows this is not a classified ad..haha I'm just curious, in this day and age...what are some of the things you look for when choosing a company to drive for? What...

One Man Fight to Save the Expedited Trucking Industry

Deadhead, keep doing what you're doing. Don't let one guy with a negative outlook on apparently everything discourage you!! I'm on the board with TEANA and it's an uphill battle, but we have to keep up the fight! I'll take those pictures you sent me to everyone I meet!

One Man Fight to Save the Expedited Trucking Industry

Well, that's unacceptable. Not making excuses, but just this week we've had two separate calls on ex drivers who still have our logos on. Not saying that's them, but I promise those vans don't come to my office in that shape. But, I don't know why you are trying to call me out Ontario? If you...

One Man Fight to Save the Expedited Trucking Industry

I'll be the first to admit it's hurting me financially. Everyone is suffering. Safety is a huge concern with these types of vehicles, overloaded and under insured. Something bad will happen, none of us want to see that.

One Man Fight to Save the Expedited Trucking Industry

So, it's a threat IF I "snitch" on you? Well, if you are not doing anything wrong, you shouldn't have a problem. If you are, stay out of my way. We are all competing against this..it's not a personal attack. Deadheads concern is very valid, and should be addressed loud and proud!!
