Carriers would be smarter to pay longevity bonuses than sign on. In the long run it would probably be more beneficial to them.

Do you know of any carrier that offers one? I guess you could incorporate something similar into a driver rewards program.

This is really great feedback guys..CDL Drivers (especially team's) are a commodity. YOU have the power! I love the idea of retention programs over sign on bonuses (even though it does help with the upfront cost of moving your truck to a new company). Hopefully there is a happy medium with both.
