    President Hillary Rodham Clinton

My son in law is pure west Pa, [bless his heart], and he says "you'uns" - when he wants to see the steam coming from his wife's ears, lol. ;)

    President Hillary Rodham Clinton

First [in post 37] it was the 'liberal elitists' taking away your human rights - now, it's the government. What next: aliens? Or maybe gremlins? Wait: I know: it's the Illuminati, right?

    Wil He or Won't He?

I agree with Humble. We, the people, are fed up with using our money and people to involve ourselves with problems in other countries, when we haven't enough to solve our own. We simply can't afford what it costs us to meddle, even if we have the right - and I'm not sure we do.

    President Hillary Rodham Clinton

If you understood the intent of the Constitution, you'd know that it was designed to change as circumstances change - it was never meant to be carved in stone and unchanged forever.

    What's fair and equitable

He says "you get what you ask for", so if he asked me, I'd ask for $1000 a day. ;)

    President Hillary Rodham Clinton

I find liberal elitists lecturing about what's best for me and what I must tolerate a whole lot easier to endure than conservative wingnuts legislating what I may do with my own body [and legislating obstacles to prevent me from obtaining such rights as they don't like] and who I may marry. I'm...

Expedite is a very different kind of trucking from OTR, and research is important to know what the differences are - start with the FAQ on the Newbies Forum. And welcome to EO! :D

    Changing your mind?

Anyone who looks further than the screaming headlines knows that the "Stella" [hot coffee] case is a prime example of how corporate interests use PR to spin the story and blame the victim. Another proponent of tort reform are the big insurance companies, who engaged in rate wars to 'increase...

Re: AH September,Start of Football, Cooler Weather and Hotter Freight. So where are y Not here, calls from dispatch are announced just as I programmed it: "Call from Cookie Monsters" [Remember all the neat stuff at the grocery store I mentioned? Had to share the red velvet & cinnamon bun...

Panhandler...to give or not to give, that's the question.

I've been broke, out of work, with a kid, too - no wife, though [I'd have welcomed another adult to help out!]. The experience never made me believe "if I did it, you have no excuse", because I recognize that sometimes, it's just [for lack of a better word] luck that makes the difference...

Panhandler...to give or not to give, that's the question.

That's one reason I rarely park at truckstops - it's hard to tell the truly needy from those who do it for a 'living' anymore. I've given food to some, but not cash. I donate to the Salvation Army [cash and goods] so I don't feel guilty.

AH September,Start of Football, Cooler Weather and Hotter Freight. So where are you?

Re: AH September,Start of Football, Cooler Weather and Hotter Freight. So where are y Better take a list, John - if you haven't been to a grocery in years, you'll be amazed at all the stuff that wasn't there last time. I can see how Steve got banned, lol.

2 dead, 1 hurt in fiery wreck on I-75 near Tipp City

Better sign me up for that sensitivity training too - I still feel bad for the injured & dead [and I worked with the survivors on the Trauma Unit long enough to know how the aftermath goes], but the longer I drive, the less I understand the impatient stupidity of some people. And DUI's just make...

    Important Notice Gooseberry Tec

You know that cause you read it somewhere, right? ;) Seriously, it sounds like Microsoft's charging $100 for Windows 7 after they find how much people hate Windows 8. I guess that's the next tech advance: change a popular gadget/program/app, then charge people to return to the one that worked...

Re: Councilwoman to gang rapists: "What do you need from society to make better choic The post to which you responded was a comment on your previous post, which makes it relevant. Your response had nothing to do with anything said by anyone in this thread, beyond "whatever". Whether anyone...
