I just got a call from a friend at my old carrier (he is in a sprinter). He has been sitting in Chicago since Friday and still not loaded, so its definitely not isolated to us. He wants to dh out, but if you cant get out of Chicago...where are you gonna improve your chances? Lol #2 now

Honestly, thats as good as it gets imo. The feedback is likely better that way too. What stands out the most John, is that you actually TRY to do that. One of the reasons I'm here.

Ive never been able to explain it completely but Ive always noticed it to be like this....then its the expediters turn to do well while the tt's struggle. Cuzz..... best of luck. Im sure others....and others at other carriers.... are struggling too.... like you and I.

I used to see that at my old carrier if I got caught in KC on a bad week. I always blamed it on the rate-cutters under cutting the bids enough to get the customer to cancel and give the freight to the rate cutter. I think my record was 3 times in one day that I started the straight truck, got...

This is for sure....and Ive watched and listened long enough to know that dispatch does everything they can.

I did tell the dispatcher this morning that I needed better runs. I still took the load though.

Yeah....I do. Im not used to turning down loads though. But Im also not used to waiting 1-3 days between 90 mile loads.. lol. I know dispatch is doing their best. Its gonna be a tough transition for me though.

Yet another 90 mile trip. Im north of the yard again. I dont know what to do. Its hard for me to turn down loads when I know someone has put effort into getting me that load. But....in the last 5 days, Ive ran a grand total of 175 loaded miles. The pay hasnt been what is should be either for...
