I go to the Outback and California Dreamin and I drive a C/V. I do as well as I did when I had D units and a whole lot less overhead. :cool:

That's enough for me. My private haul contract will be up in the middle of February and hopefully my new truck will be ready then. I think I have narrowed it down to two company's. I sure hate to loose the one I'm doing but the company is moving out of the country.:(

Re: CV rates and logging I don't want to sound the normal but having to have 1 million general liability and 1 million vehicle it seems to me we should get a little bit more cash.:cool:

We work nights and loose sleep during the day while trying to solve all the expediter problems. :D

Re: CV rates and logging How does an operator haul for 3-4 carriers? Are they running on their own brokering a load or? That almost sounds like double brokering? Does the carrier know these people or are they just winging it? I've heard of people doing that but can't see how.:cool:

You know if you paint the truck black and put about 6 or 7 antenna's on the top nobody will mess with you.

When I said 4 ga wasn't enough I may have mis-spoken. 4ga is enough but when you get further away from the charging source with a normal alternator like a 100amp or so you need to be able to send the charge easier with less restriction. When your battery's are pulled down as you suggested it...
