Agreed but I wouldn't want to put junk on the road. Even a used volvo with over 500k commands well over 60-70 grand depending on year! Build a class 7 and you're still paying 40k for truck 10k for sleeper and 10k for the box. I've looked into it and its kept me out of the game, hanging strong...

Should be able to get 8 to 10 grand for it depending on condition. If it were a 04-06 you could get a little more. Also a non white sprinter fetches a little more dollars.

The cleaner the van the better the chance, I mean everything ... no dents, shiny paint, freshly painted wheels. New tires, maintenance all current. etc. Get it looking like it just came off the used car lot, then take pictures. Make it look worthy. If they feel it betters their advertising...

Depends on how much that small fleet owner has in his pocket. If its not a lot, he usually buys a 2006 Sprinter and hits the road for a year or two then adds another truck. :) :)

Correct me if I'm wrong. The set up I have is 60% to driver (driver pays fuel) 40% to owner. Driver gets 60% of settlement (check) plus 100% of the dead head and empty move. Anything that comes in such as a bonus, layer over, Canadian border cross is added to the check and split 60 to driver...
