After 9.5 years as an ops mgr with STs and Semis, company drivers NOT paying fuel waste more fuel IMHO. Out of route miles, speeding, jackrabbit starts, aggressive driving and tons of idle time even in mild temps. Most of those habits make the truck life shorter, I believe.

Good question. I think the veins and capillaries downstream of them might just be too small. Doc said eventually they'll dissolve on their own. I started the 81 mg aspirin regimen just in case a little thinner blood would help dissolve. It's been almost 2 years. The bigger clot seems to be gone...

Maybe, where they are, there's just no danger of movement to my heart, lungs or brain. Lets hope!!!

I never knew. But I have a few. They are just below the surface of my skin on my right leg. The doc almost blew them off as "just one if those things some people get". Far different than DVT. they did an ultrasound and pinned down where they are. No meds or anything. Just a $2500 hospital bill...

That's crazy. Maybe it's just me but a potty break en route is one of the several reasons shippers/customers are usually quoted average speeds like 47-50 MPH. We all average more than this when DRIVING, but fuel stops, potty stops and the 67 minute power nap between Dallas and Laredo knocks...
