as i stated before. failure to plan on the part of dispatch does not constitute an emergency on my part. no sense in letting p/u times stress you out or cause you to be unsafe. its just not worth it. just keep them in the loop. communication is everything.

yep like i posted in the " our company " thread. expediting is just another form of legalized gambling. sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. the important thing is to always make sure you keep what you originally invested. setting here in columbus, oh hopefully we can get something still...

word of advice to all who have not learned one important lesson about expediting. learn to set, its going to happen. sometimes more than we like. no one can control freight volumes. those of you that cant are going to have a rough time of it.

not only did conway dispatch at 45 mph, they built an hour in at the shipper and the receiver for a two hour window. they did dispatch faster but they always asked first. we have always figured everything on 50 mph and normally we make it in plenty of time. we also dont let getting behind...
