They are still pretty plentiful on Lake Erie. We get "jumbos" when we are out layout hunting. It is the time of year. All the commercial fishing takes place in Canadian waters around here. Natives fish Lake Huron, Michigan and Superior.

No you read wrong. My rear axle IS my drive axle. The lift axle CAN lift the drive axle off the road.

A lift axle in front of the drive axle NOT a twin screw truck

It can be a problem even on fairly good roads. If your air pressure is too high, more likely if the axle is down with no weight on it. It lifts the drive tires off of the road, sometime a little and sometimes to where they just spin free and the truck won't move

That used to happen to us when we drove for an owner, only when the truck was empty and I forgot to raise the axle. My truck "releases" air as needed to compensate. I can run axle down, empty without a problem. Sometimes too if you have too much pressure in the axle it can cause a problem.

We have done a good bit of business in the Tuscon area. Several loads in Phoenix/Tempe as well. We could get in and out of the area several times a year. Most is reefer or government work. We are a "D" TVAL truck.

We stand to lose all food stock fish in the ocean if we are NOT careful. We are on the verge of losing all shad and herring runs on the east coast. Runs that just 50 years ago numbered in the thousands of tons are, on some rivers, down to 15-20 fish per years. Those rivers are no longer viable...

Nope, no longer needed. The economic benefits of free running rivers far outweigh the electricity produced. EVERY form of power production has adverse envinronmental impacts. Dams have some of the worst with the ability to have major impact on world food supplies. Nukes can do far better than...

No, the testing is done every 18 months. I plan this "check over" to take place during Expo time. It just happened that this test was due this July. My DOT is done at Christmas and Jan's is done during these summer breaks, around Expo. The truck itself has be OVER checked this year with 4, count...
