Check D.O.T. specs on sleepers before going to that expense . You must be able to access the driving area from the sleeper and meet a lot of other requirements ( vents , restraints , etc. ) for it to be D.O.T. legal .

He has a point though . What happened with OOIDA and the split sleeper law and the fuel surcharge ? How about negative comments OOIDA has broadcast criticizing FMCSA and NHTSA and written to ATA members criticzing ATA leadership ? That's really the way to gain respect and cooperation in the...

My error . Thank you OntarioVan Man for having me check back on it . The sign says you get credits with a 25 gallon minimum but showers still require a 50 gallon purchase .

I know last week I saw a new sign at the Pilot at exit 164 on I-75 in Findlay , OH and it definitely said 25 gallons . It was hanging over the fuel desk with prices for other services . Well , it won't be the first time Pilot reneged on an offer .

I read of a company that sets up an account that allows the customer to swipe his driver's license and the money is debited from his checking account . Retailers like it because fees are lower than with credit cards .

I was hoping I'd make the show but I was coming down I-75 Saturday morning after leaving Canada . Got home with 67 hours logged in 6 days .

I've seen some pretty pathetic Pilots . One of them in KY had a barstool in the shower room . Ever try putting your boots on while sitting on a barstool ?

I don't know when this started . I just noticed the sign today . Now you get a free shower credit when you purchase 25 gallons of fuel at Pilot .
