One down, too many to go.

I didn't think the story was 'bizarre', but then I've used those bands, too, lol. Anyway, what if his brother socked him? You can see that he'd be embarrassed, or possibly not want to cause trouble for his brother [in public], and it doesn't involve the public, so who gives a flying fig...

    Medical recert craziness!

Thanks, Treadmill. I wish they'd called it something else, spelling that word "chauffeur' gives me trouble every time, lol. :(

One down, too many to go.

A full on Breitbart investigation [floor plans of Reid's bathroom!] based on what the article admits are "speculations based on the gruesome nature of the injuries" is just about as desperate as it gets, seriously. Rather amusing that such influential people have nothing better to do, lol. :D

    Speaking of substandard education...

http://www.commondreams.org/news/2015/04/17/professors-outrage-sons-terror-based-sex-education-goes-viral It is a crime that this kind of misinformation is passed off as "education" these days. If you really want to reduce STDs, you start by increasing real education on the subject, and if...

    Medical recert craziness!

Update: just a reminder that you, the driver, are responsible for submitting the certification to your state authorities. Because, with all the drama, I kind of forgot that part, and Ohio "downgraded my CDL to a chauffeur's license" [whatever that means!] If you submit via fax or email, it can...

    WHO DO YOU LOVE?

One battery isn't going to power many luxuries, and still start the vehicle. As a newbie, knowing exactly zip about batteries, inverters, etc, I found the site "Inverters R Us" extremely helpful. It explains it all in terms even a dummy can understand, so you can figure out how much of each you...

    April fooled ya !!!!!

When people talk because they have something to say, it's expo -nentially [see what I did there, lol] more interesting than when they talk because they have to say something. When it's more interesting, more people have something to say. Just saying. ;)

    Welfare reform in Maine

Of course they have an obligation to do right by their shareholders, but that doesn't cancel out all the other obligations, ie: employees and community. The simple change from "stakeholders" [everyone invested in success] to "shareholder" says it all: profit is not just the most important factor...

Expedite Expo 15th Annual Expedite Expo!

I think I've been to 8, starting with the last year in Woodhaven. I like it way better than MATS, because it's strictly expediters. And the Roberts Center is a great place to be - they have everything you might need [hotel, restaurant, bar] right there within easy walking distance. :)

No argument that public education is substandard, but "liberal socialistic indoctrination"? If that were true, there'd be no conservatives, or even Republicans, right? That there are says teachers don't teach students what to think, but how to make up their own minds.

    Politicly correct?

All you really need is the shovel.:shy:

    Desperate!

Duwayne, you'll need to be more specific: what kind of help, exactly, do you need [that members could provide]?

    Medical recert craziness!

Hey now - I [probably] wouldn't have jumped in that fountain even if you hadn't whispered "Mexican jail" in my ear, lol. ;)

    Pat Sajak on minimum wage

Celebrity opinions on politics are fine, when you like what they say, huh? One can have the goal of bettering one's self, and the goal of bettering minimum wage, they are not mutually exclusive. When it hasn't been raised for many years, that makes sense to anyone not too far to the right.

    sad sad day

Anyone who votes for Hillary because they want a woman for POTUS is too stupid to vote. I hope there is a better candidate, because I just can't vote for her.

    Forced Dispatch

The bias isn't anti business, it's anti the assumption that business deserves deference, no matter how their decisions impact others. There are plenty of good businesses, but the ones that value profit above all else, [esp short term], aren't an asset to the community, and don't deserve to be...

    Third grade activities

Exactly. The reaction of the outraged presumes the teacher explained to the class that the recipient of their get well cards is a convicted cop killer, but we don't know anything at all about that. It would be nice to know what else was included in the lesson, [I don't believe kids have any...

    Forced Dispatch

Walgreen's is being vilified because [in your terms] they accepted a load, then decided the profit/location wasn't good enough. The time to make that determination is before building a store and hiring staff - er, accepting a load. We all make poor decisions sometimes, but 200 wrong decisions...

    Welfare reform in Maine

News flash: if they'd opened stores in the right places, which is what they claim they're going to do now, [smh], those people who had work would still have it. Stability is a better metric than whatever they used to open stores in the 'wrong' places, IMO. Stuff like this is why it baffles me...
