Back to the J in Saginaw. Thanks to the entire LoadOne gang for getting me some great loads over the last 5 or 6 days. It was needed. The previous 3 weeks were pretty thin for me. Thanks!!! to everybody involved in getting it turned around. I could use a couple more decent weeks :)

I rented a car once in Houston when I was a company driver...truck was down for a week. I had to get a cab ride to the airport where the rentals were. The cabbie told me where he rented cars. He was getting great rates, like you mentioned. He basicly just kept a rental in the driveway the way he...

The solution...for me....would be to rent a car on the occassions like you mentioned being close to home. The times where you just want to ride a bike...try to rent one. I dont know how available the bikes are....a car should be pretty easy to find. In short, I would spend my time finding...

You have a good point. I've seen some huge fsc #'s before. Not sure how that gets worked out in a split situation....never been there.

Ive had some of those problems with the CargoMax as well. Even the Chevy dealer at home kinda gives me that "look" when I talk to 'em. At least I know they will try if at all possible.

Loaded....delivers in a really rough neighborhood Im told....about an hour from Alpena, MI. On that note...ran a local Friday night....nothing like delivering to a Detroit address at midnight! I didn't waste a lot of time while going from the van to the building, and back.
