Well I was flying combat missions in VN in 67 so I know it wasn't a 69. I thought that was the year, but like you say fuzzy, a long time ago. I do remember the 4 cylinder Perkins though. I graduated in 64, I'll have to think about it. Oh well the fuzzy part is right.:p

Get an oil sample. It will tell you if the antifreeze is going into the engine. Do you see white smoke from the stake when going down the road? Is water dripping from the pipe? Yes does sound like a blown head gasket. Need to find out as soon as possible because if it is a head gasket and...

Actually your a contractor not an employee so what you do is non of their business unless it interferes with a delivery. I have run another business for several years along with expediting. ;) I might ad, it's good to have something to do while waiting for that call.

Well forget what I said before. If you have rod issues and have pulled the pistons I would put in a inframe kit. If you are doing the work get a kit from Detroit, don't use generic on Detroits. Cost's alittle more but you won't regret it. If a shop is doing it, well dig deep and pray.
