FSC-Why don't companies pay 100% of it to us?

It would seem to be as simple as who pays for the fuel. If you pay for the fuel you should get the fsc. I am sure before fuel prices went up fsc wasn't a common practice, now it seems to have become a revenue stream for most trucking companies.

For those who run Ceva loads..good news.

Yeah, that is exactly how it works. I know exactly how much I need based on the miles/round trip So if the offer is too low I tell them what I need and usually get it if I am available. If it is a pickup that is nearby and not to much of a hassle I don't usually haggle since I am already there.

Baby got her blue jeans on!

I see a van in my future, even if I do local deliveries, it is much easier to get in and out of and the freight is usually lighter and/or loaded by forklift. But for now the straight truck is serving it's purpose, and I can still handle it, the pain comes and goes, good weeks and bad weeks...

actually for full retirement she has another ten years, she will be right at the age to qualify for retirement also. I can see her retiring, but I will only be 50, too early for me to retire, besides I love my job:) Physical limitations would be the only thing to keep me from driving/handling...
