    January 2015

I love the term 'Nasclown', but they were actually a giant black & white checkerboard, with black & red checkers, and yesss, they were uglier than crocheted shorts, [shudder] but they were warm. Didn't growing up in Minnesota teach you what really matters?! :p

Juju can crochet them in something softer, no doubt, and you can make our eyes bleed, again. [Until someone mistakes you for a sofa, at least.] ;)

Wonder why this photo made me think of Mr "Pretty Darn Cute", lol

    January Locations & Witty Repartee

Holy cannoli - sure glad our crackerjack dispatch team sent me to Georgia, lol. PS I saw a photo of newborns at OSU's Wexler Medical Center wrapped in red blankies that said "Beat Alabama!" Guess it worked, lol.

    Doing the Dishes

I've had a few dogs that are big enough to stand [or lie] on, and agree with LOS: they are far happier when they have work to do - it's in their nature. But I wouldn't allow the kids to stand on the dog, any more than on a younger [subservient] sibling, because they're not furniture. If you...

    I don't do blogs

Blogging is for those who can't take photos like yours. Still, I like the effort - it aint boring, lol. And kudos to Cyn for being a kite string strong enough to keep you tethered to Earth. :)

    December 2014

I guess I just can't hear capital letters. Really, though, to me it sounds like the house, the car, the lawnmower - all things you appreciate, but still things. [And still much better than the "affectionate" nickname my ex had for me: bimbo. Yes, he really did think it was sweet.]

    December 2014

Hawk, that is purely beautiful! I hear the "ball & chain", & I envision someone who has to be dragged along, slowing you down, someone you can't get rid of - that's just sad. My pet peeve is "the" wife [or husband, whatever], as if they aren't even a person. Sure, it's supposed to be...

December is a time to remember

In case you hadn't noticed, Jeanie is generally the ringleader for our little side trips, now that Linder Caffee has gone all big league [jk, Linder is just too busy these days]. It's great to get out of our normal routine [rut?] once in awhile, so I'm glad they make me do it. ;)

    Sometimes things make no sense,imho.

I agree with the mother's statement that the principal made the wrong call, but I don't agree when she said they're punishing her son for being a boy - my daughter is one of many 'girls' who enjoy shooting. They're punishing him because 'zero tolerance' is unreasonable. Life isn't black OR...

December is a time to remember

About a dozen of us did the ziplines through the caves under Louisville a couple years ago during MATS, it was fun!

December is a time to remember

I do the same when it's cold, like convincing myself that oatmeal is a good dinner, lol. [It would be, but I don't like sweet things when I'm hungry - weird.] Anything to get out of getting out of the truck when it's cold!

So when you see their slogan "Inspire the next", it brings to mind something like 'fustercluck'? Hahaha- gotta love a slogan that lets you be the creative genius! Seriously, the most mystifying slogan anywhere, ever. ;)

    Darwin awards nominee

I agree that the Braniac Brothers ought to be eligible for a Darwin Award, but I'm not so sure either of them qualifies [never had or will have children]. And I sincerely hope the survivor goes to prison for the rest of his miserable worthless life.

    Layover pay

The company should tell you how to do it, but in this case, it looks as if layover [if any] should be included in the pay for the load. When you agree to pick up on Friday for delivery on Monday, any pay for 'layover' needs to be discussed with dispatch before you accept the load. Otherwise...

    looking at a broker(info)

Welcome to the Monkey House, and thanks for playing along, lol. We can be silly, [give us an opening and most of us can get a semi through it], and we can be very informative: your choice. Are you looking for freight for a vehicle you own, or what?

    Jump in and say something

Dam: why won't you 700 people say something?! OK, since you didn't, here's a great giftwrapping idea: [and I didn't even think of it myself - though I might have to buy one of my daughters a vacuum next year, lol]

    Jump in and say something

Attaboy, greasytshirt! It's been demonstrated many times: people who have less are more generous than the more fortunate. Maybe there's a cause & effect relationship there, but I'd rather know people who are rich in stories, and humor, and knowledge, than money. I can make money, but good people...

    How to find drivers ?

An owner like you describe [doesn't treat drivers like human beings, thinks money is more important than anything else] won't be in business for too long, because it takes good drivers to succeed, and he/she won't get or keep them. There will be service failures and breakdowns that could have...
