As a solo I think I would stay close to home most holiday weeks. Being with my wife, if we're stuck somewhere for the long weekend we just rent a car or try to get to nearby friends/relatives.

How about they're in business to make a profit. How many vans at $6-8,000 a year do you need to have enough after costs to cover that $15 Million dollar settlement ? If you can't get enough to cover your costs, speaking to nobody in particular, then maybe you're in the wrong business...

Yeah. I guess if you're not logged on the truck, you don't get included on the load. One load, three days. We both drove on Mon and Tue. I would have thought the Clink would be smart enough to figure she's doing the same load as I am.
