PFJ mostly. Unless I don't need to bank showers. Then I just find the best price en route.

LOL!! True. Yes, I do my showering at a Pilot. I even sleep at PFJs a good bit. But I ALWAYS sleep better in those ultra-quiet Lowe's lots. Looking forward to testing my aux gas tank for my generator tonight. Takes my "heavy load" run time from 4 hours up to about 12 hours. If I shut down in...

I saw exactly that the other day. Cutaway. Flatbed on the frame. About 12' long. Framed tarp over that. Like a Conestoga I think.

LOL!! No. I took them off. I was WAY close to selling it when no one could figure out the P0300 and told me it was worn out. Yes, $450 in decals gone. :(

And no. It handles NO different. And I'm sensitive to its handling. The whole set up is..... 73# generator. ~35# of gas. (In the gen and the 2 cans) ~50# for carrier and supports. Max. So no, I don't think I feel the extra 160# out there at all. I'm sure it affects my alignment angle a hair...

I don't have a front hitch but some year models of Chevy require some fabricating to install one. The frame has a piece on each side that interfere with the support plate bolting on. I still plan on something up there but kept getting "no" from hitch installers and fan shops. I may just have to...

Yeah, I do some of my own work. Brakes, rotors, belt, O2 sensors, tune ups, alternator. But nothing too hard. I'm too lazy to do too much.

LOL!! I paid $6,000 cash for mine 169,000 miles and about $150,400 in revenue ago. Price of the truck means nothing. A penny saved is a penny earned. That's why I hate to even think about replacing this van. It seems to have LOTS of life left in it. And low cost per mile. But you gotta buy a...

It could be bought for less. I'd love to see him get $21K but the market isn't having it. Same issue. Heavy truck. I think rated 10K. Good think it's not a "scale" truck. But yes. Decked NICE! Wish I could buy it. 6.0L engine.

They don't come with axles and springs rated that high. But yes. Would be almost useless.

But "tall" like 52"-55". I don't see AS many Sprinter loads at 60-70" tall. They happen, but usually I see 50-56" or so more.

And yes. TALL is more often what makes a Sprinter load compared to weight. BUT, as many times I see posted Sprinter loads with 3-4 full size skids. I can squeeze in 3 @ 48x48x48. But not 4. That's a lot of load for this can.
