Money with owning your on trk

Broom!! You cleaned toilets and we mowed yards! We had a very successful mom and pop lawn care business and that was a money maker. Hard work does pay because that is how we had our very large down payment. As a first time truck buyer you need the large down payment to get most truck...

    Food in the truck

I am not a huge hard boiled egg fan!! What I would do though was peel them and then as I was driving I would eat them for breakfast. That seemed to work well and they last what seems like indefinitely. How colorful and cheerful would a bunch of colored eggs be!! Fun The chicken worked out...

    I'm Bored

McBride's I have sometimes felt that a mailbox and also a nice potted plant would be a good thing to carry in the truck for these situations. Wouldn't that be a nice picture? Sometimes you just have to laugh and start another day!

    About

First you must acquire the correct license for the vehicle you are planning on driving. With FedEx you will then have to take a drive test with an approved instructor.

    Who do we call?

Greg you have that one right. How many times have you talked to new drivers that have no experience but are White Glove? How many times have you talked to Owner Operators trying to get into White Glove after being here a year or more and they have to jump through hoops and wait for an opening...

    Free dinners

My first thoughts where why not go dutch treat and talk as fellow truck drivers. One thing that is great about this profession is we are all equals and we all receive the same pay. We have learned many many things by sharing a meal with a fellow expediter or even with the big truck drivers.

    Who do we call?

Phil, in Express where the freight is and where the express center is are two different things. Once again you have to be within the Express Center to be looked at for dispatch, if you are sitting on the freight you still can and most often will be over looked at you are in a dead head status...

    Who do we call?

My previous post was as an Express truck which I believe McBride's are and this had nothing to do with a White Glove truck. When you in Express you need to remember that White Glove and Express have totally separate dispatchers and separate ways of doing business.
